Camp California Fitness has chosen a setting that is centrally located, extremely safe, and fully equipped with top notch facilities. California State University, Stanislaus is located in the Central Valley of California and maximizes the participant’s access to the unique attractions in the region. It is located less than an hour and a half away from the Sierra Mountains, the picturesque Monterey Coast, the infamous San Francisco trolleys, and several major theme parks in California. This small university setting is nestled in a bedroom community and features a spacious well manicured campus with an abundance of lakes, fountains and bridges. The university provides a relaxed family atmosphere where campers feel comfortable and safe.

In addition to the park-like setting, the campus features first class fitness facilities. There are two swimming pools, tennis courts, collegiate track, soccer fields, softball fields, weight room, gym, many walking and jogging trails, comfortable eating areas, state of the art classrooms, and plenty of shade trees for talking with new friends!

The girls will reside on campus in the student housing facilities. The dorms are large, comfortable, suite style rooms and are designed for 5 people to each suite. Each camper will have their own private space, closet, drawers, and a shared living room. Each suite will have a trained female counselor who will reside with the girls the entire time. Camp California Fitness maintains this ratio of 4 girls assigned to 1 counselor in order to ensure that the campers will have individualized attention and direction. Every camper will have supervised access to the pool, game room, laundry room, and computer lab. The housing is centrally located on campus and provides easy walking access to all of the facilities. Camp California Fitness uses an entire dorm building for its exclusive use so that the privacy and safety of our girls is maintained. The on-site camp office is located directly across from the housing unit which has secured lock system and 24-hour on call security patrol. Our exclusive all female staff of counselors strives to create a safe and nurturing ‘home away from home’ environment.
